EARNED SAUNA
A small-group smoke sauna and farmhouse renovation project in Estonia.
The Concept
You come to work.
You live simply.
You help restore an old farmhouse and sauna.
At the end of the day, there is food, rest, and sauna.
This is not a retreat.
This is not a holiday.
This is not sightseeing.
About the place
This farmhouse and sauna belong to a young Estonian artist.
The place is being restored not as a tourist attraction, but as part of a real life and a real future.
To join this project is to help bring a meaningful place back into use through work, care, and time.
What to Expect
Physical work is the core. Conditions are simple, food is moderate, and rest is enough. The sauna, the people around you, and shared memories are real.
The work
Tasks depend on the stage of the renovation.
They may include clearing spaces, basic demolition, moving timber, cleaning, repair work, and daily practical tasks such as chopping firewood.
Who this is for
This is for people who like physical work, accept simple conditions, and want to help restore something real alongside others.
Who this is not for
If you are looking for comfort or a social media content, this is probably not for you.
Participation
Participation is application-based. Selected participants are invited to make a donation-based contribution toward food, materials, gloves, and other basic costs.
